Following a successful application to the Welsh Government for the Smart Cymru Innovation Voucher, Llanelec is pleased to announce that it has invested in a new, fully automated Aberlink Zenith 3 CNC CMM.
The Smart Cymru Innovation Voucher, which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), contributed to funding the new, state-of-the-art machinery which has been implemented at Llanelec’s Neath Facility.
The nature of the industry Llanelec operates in means that the highest quality products need to be delivered in a safety critical environment. It is for these reasons that the decision to invest in the Aberlink Zenith 3 CNC CMM was made.
The implementation of this machinery is a key part of Llanelec’s business growth programme which has already seen significant progress, including winning new MOD contracts, a successful BSI Audit for EN9100 in February 2021 and four new full-time staff.
Llanelec would like to thank the Welsh Government for the Smart Cymru Innovation Award, funded by the European Regional Development Fund, with a particular thanks to Simon Ripton, Innovation Specialist for Department for Economy, Science and Transport and Gwenan Doran, Smart Case Officer.
